We looked at close to 200 startups and tech companies across Australia and selected the companies we believed would be the best places to work in 2020. We know that the data isn't perfect, but we felt that a simple analysis and easy to browse list would be better than no list at all. We looked at the following criteria:
They're growing. The company has high year-on-year employee growth (Linkedin was the source here), recently advertised roles or appears to be set for growth. No point in having a list of the best places to work if you can't get hired there π.
They build their own product. We have ignored companies that completely outsource their product/software development. We don't want to promote companies that don't realise the value of Β owning their product.
People like working there. We looked at Glassdoor reviews as a proxy for this. We only looked at data from companies that had more than 15 Glassdoor reviews.
Product-led and flexible. They have tech/product/design leaders and value a flexible working environment (including promoting remote work).
If something looks way off, please let us know, we'll be happy to take a look and correct any data that looks clearly incorrect.
Fast growing companies and great product teams create career growth opportunities. We researched hundreds of tech startups and scaleups across Australia to find the companies you'll actually want to work for in 202.
